Text on the back reads: The Long-Tailed Tit is easily recognisable with its black and white colouring, long tail and undulating flight. It moves in small flocks of around 20 birds, most commonly seen in woods and hedgerows where it feeds on insects, and occasionally seeds in autumn and winter. The UK population is stable with around 340,00 breeding pairs .
